My art is both an introspection tool and a projection of my personal history. Creating has always been a part of my life, as a crutch and a representation of my true self, especially when I feel I am unknowable or unrelatable. I find immense joy in the fact that others can enjoy my art through appreciation or empathy, and create with aesthetic, message, and feeling in mind. Each person, myself included, will have a different view of the piece, depending on when and where they experience it, and I find that to be motivation to continue creating for myself and others.

I experiment with both my processes and mediums in my work, so often times there is overlap in my favorites, namely painting, printmaking, and collage art.
